Putin and Trump discussed alleged battlefield developments during a phone call

According to Ukrainian intelligence, during a phone call, Putin discussed the alleged course of the war in Russian-occupied Crimea, the alleged missile strikes on Moscow, and also the alleged “success” of Russian troops. In particular, in a Telegram post, the Russian side, citing Sergey Aksyonov, claimed that the “detailing” of the attack is being carried out in order to “ensure the safety of people” without providing details of the attack.

The Russian and Ukrainian leaderships previously exchanged comments about the Kremlin’s alleged missile strikes on the territory of the United States. In his words, Vladimir Putin said that the 250th day of the war had been “a success” and that the war had been “going according to plan.”

It is also reported by the Kremlin that Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump discussed the “constructiveness” of the call. The Kremlin said that Putin told Trump that the “defenders” of Kyiv were facing “difficulties,” and that the Russian side was “advancing” on the front line. In addition, the Kremlin said that Putin told Trump about the alleged “success” of Russian forces in the region of Kyiv.

According to the Ukrainian side, the Russian side also claimed that the attack on Kyiv had been carried out. At the same time, the Ukrainian side said that it had not received confirmation of the claims.
