SUU: 295 combat engagements in the last day in RF

• Over the past 4 days, 295 combat engagements took place on the front line between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian forces.
• Russia has launched a ground attack, 58 airstrikes, and 2,775 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops.
• In total, the enemy carried out 24 artillery shellings of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to July 5, 2026 inclusive—almost 1,409,630 strikes, of which 1,290 were missiles.

As of 08:00 on July 5, 4 days, 295 combat engagements took place between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian forces, according to information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, Russian forces carried out 58 airstrikes, striking 252 areas with multiple launch rocket systems, and launched 8,799 artillery strikes (including 2,775 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems) on positions of Ukrainian troops, including 46 missile strikes.

In addition, the General Staff reports that the enemy’s air and artillery fire targeted Ukrainian positions in the areas of the following settlements.

In the direction of Pivnich, Kursk, the enemy conducted three attacks. The Ukrainian defense repelled one attack near the villages of Kirov and advanced positions, and the enemy’s losses amounted to 62 personnel and 2 tanks. In the direction of Pivdenna, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times in the areas of settlements including Starytsia, Synelnykove, Artilne, Kudiivka, Vilcha, and also near Khatnie, Izbytske, Zarubynka, and Shev'iaikivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched two attacks—near Novoosynove and in the direction of Kolisnykivka. In the Lyman direction, Russian forces conducted 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and also near Dovha Balka. In the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces attacked 25 times in the areas of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the direction of Riznykivka and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat engagements took place in the area of Markove and Tykhonivka. In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and in the direction of Dovha Balka. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 31 artillery strikes and 31 attacks in the areas of Shakhove, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Hryshyne, and also near the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, Ivanivka, and Bilytske.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Oleksandrohrad, Berezove, Ternove and Ivanivka. In the Huliaipolya direction, the enemy carried out 38 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, and in the direction of Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Tsvitkove, Charne, Verkhnia Tersa, Stara Ukraine, and Kosivtseve. In the Orikhova direction, Ukrainian air defense repelled an attack by Russian forces near Lukianivske and Novodanylivka.

In the Pridniprovskoho direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations. The enemy’s Volyn and Polissia groups did not conduct any offensive actions.

According to Ukrainian General Staff reports, in total since February 24, 2022 to July 5, 2026, Russia has launched 1,409,630 artillery strikes, including 1,290 missile strikes. The material also provides information that the overall number of tanks is 12,081 (+7), armored combat vehicles are 24,878 (+9), and artillery systems are 390,738 (+1,628).
