Newcastle complete signing of Bazoomaní Turé from Hoffenheim

Newcastle United have completed the signing of Bazoomaní Turé from the German club Hoffenheim. The player has arrived from Reims, another new signing.

According to his measurements, Turé is a 20-year-old winger. In his own debut statement, the footballer said: “I’m very, very happy to be here. It was my dream since I was young to play in the Premier League for a big team like Newcastle”.

Newcastle’s new player Eddie Howe, who commented on the transfer, said that the club has signed “exciting talent” and a “really high ceiling”. Howe also added that Newcastle are looking to build a team for the future.

According to BBC, the player will be an important addition for Newcastle, as the club did not have the opportunity to sign Victor Munoz, who was previously set to join Liverpool. It was also reported that Turé will be a substitute player, as the player is already a World Cup winner in the 1/32 final against Norway, while the footballer will play three matches.

BBC reports that the transfer fee is £43m. In addition, it is reported that Newcastle will pay the amount for the sale of Anthony Gordon to Barcelona of €80m, while the transfer of Sandro Tonali from Tottenham Hotspur will cost Spurs €80m, with Spurs paying €92.5m for the 26-year-old, and also possibly paying €7.5m more.

According to BBC, Turé has signed with Hoffenheim for the 2025 season from Hammarby. The player will play 32 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists, while Hoffenheim have paid €127m for the player.

BBC also provides additional statistics for Turé in the Bundesliga 2025-26: he will be the top scorer with 39 goals, second with 9 assists, third with 48 shots on target, and fourth with 45 minutes per match, with 11 “velikí šansi” (big chances). Overall, it is reported that the player will have scored 152 goals and assisted 127 times.
