Crisp Gotterup won John Deere Classic, finishing with a 20-under 264 total. He opened the final round with a 9-under 62 and went on to win by four strokes over the PGA Tour title-holder with 12 previous wins, AP reports.

Ben Coulzsa, who was leading by one shot entering the 18-hole round, posted a final round of 18-under after making a double bogey. Gotterup was the only player to finish with a bogey-free round, according to AP. Sky Sports said it was the bogey he made on the way to double-bogey that kept Coulzsa from going ahead of Gotterup.

Mack Goma, who made a birdie on the back nine, finished with another 19-under, but it was still not enough as he ended up one stroke behind. According to AP, Goma shot 64 in his FedEx Cup No. 49 position; meanwhile, it was reported that he had the best finish on the PGA Tour with fewer than three years in the league.

The tournament was next on the Scottish Open schedule. AP also said that the other two were from the United Kingdom: Rory McIlroy, who won the Sony Open in Phoenix Open, and that TPC Deere Run helped Gotterup with the support of Patrick, a caddie.
