Fury to face Waha in a rematch on 24 rounds

  • Fury was stunned by Waha in the 24-round bout in a fight that went to a draw
  • Waha had 25 rounds to respond against Christian Prenji
  • Waha had 39 rounds out of 51 bouts, Vaihtui and Clarke

Tyson Fury will face Waha in a rematch following the 24-round bout in Mariusha Waha in Thailand. It is expected that a rematch will take place after the fight, as Fury had been knocked down at the end of the bout.

According to BBC Sport, Fury is set to return to the ring against Waha after the 25th round in Er-Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after both fighters were knocked down. It will be the first time Fury has fought since he was knocked down by Waha in the first round at the end of the bout in Nigeria in 2025.

BBC Sport also reports that Waha had 39 rounds out of 51 bouts, with 20 — in total, but he still won three of the remaining rounds. In 2024, he won a technical fight against another opponent, Mozes Itami, in a bout for the WBO Intercontinental title, and also won a rematch against Diliana Waita in 2019.

In the meantime, BBC Sport notes that it is expected that Eddie Hearn will discuss the fight between Fury and Waha. Sky Sports says Fury plans to return to the ring against Waha 24 rounds in Thailand.
