Ben Duckett made 64 (47) as he hit a boundary-heavy innings, with England batter Brook hitting a 46 (33). Amir also made an impact, with Duckett and all-rounder result, hitting wickets and winning.
With the ball, Sunrisers Leeds put pressure on their opponents with part-time wicket-taking from Mitchell Marsh in the first 35 balls of the innings. Mohammad Amir took the wickets of the partnership between Matthew Marsh and Brook, after which Brook was dismissed for 35.
