As reported by The Verge, CNET.
Netflix has released a trailer for the real-life series Wonkas The Golden Ticket, which will premiere on the platform on 23 versions. The company also promised to post Squid Game, which sparked a trend of real-life competitions with motivation from the book Dalai.
The trailer uses a voice generated by AI. According to Deadline, Netflix is using AI-audio company ElevenLabs to generate the voice of Gene Wilder, and also ran the voice of Michael Cain.
CNET also notes that the series takes place in the world of Roald Dahls 1964 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and features actor Rasstie Goffe, who played Omph-Lumpu in the 1971 film, among others.
