Police: Twin Falls man shot through windshield in In-N-Out

In Twin Falls, Idaho, police said an Idaho State Police investigation found that a man was shot through the windshield of a vehicle in a In-N-Out Burger restaurant. Investigators, according to materials, found that at the time of the incident, the man was driving and the shot came from outside the vehicle.

Detective Matthew Hicks in Twin Falls said the incident happened when he noticed two people who were inside the vehicle, shot at him while he was driving. The detective also said he believes the shots came from outside the vehicle.

In a statement, Hicks said the police received the call at 2:29 p.m. about the incident. Hicks said the suspect was driving and the vehicle was stopped in the area.

According to investigators, Chad Williams, 24, was identified as the person who fired the shots. Investigators said Williams was the only suspect and that the motive remains unknown.

Investigators also said that the FBI is continuing to follow up on leads from the tip portal that may provide additional information. Investigators said that Hicks described the suspect as a man with a beard and that the suspect may have been wearing a dark jacket.
