Pochettino’s new contract with U.S. Soccer through 2030

• U.S. Soccer has reportedly agreed a contract with Mauricio Pochettino through the 2030 World Cup.

The U.S. Soccer has reportedly signed a new contract with Mauricio Pochettino for the development of the national team: a new deal through World Cup 2030.

It is also reported that the federation is expected to expand the coaching staff, with Pochettino’s team to include a number of specialists who will support the development of the national football system, including the development of the national team, training, and the implementation of professional analysis of the technical aspects of football matches in the USA.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. According to the published materials, Pochettino will receive $6m per year under the contract, but it is also said that this figure could be linked to the achievement of certain performance targets. The agreement also stipulates that the club could not be obliged to release Pochettino before the end of the contract.

U.S. Soccer is reportedly funding the project with money from Kenneth C. Griffin, and the federation also says it will pay additional funds to support the project, according to information provided by Scott Goodwin and Adam Freede, among others. The materials also indicate that Griffin will cover the costs of the new deal.

It is also reported that Pochettino’s contract was signed after the team won its first match in the 1/8 final of the World Cup, beating Belgium 4-1. It is also noted that Pochettino’s team recorded a result of 17-12-2 in 31 matches, while at the World Cup in the USA, the group D matches against Paraguay and Australia were won, and Bosnia and Herzegovina were also defeated with a score of 32.

ESPN reports that the Pochettino staff, who were listed in the previous report, include Jesus Perez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jime9nez, as well as new hires Sebastian Pochettino and Sylvia Tuye9.

ESPN also notes that the current agreement in the USA is planned to run through 2030.
