ZSU says it repelled attacks in the Kostiantynivka area at around 16:00

• General Staff of the ZSU reports that Russian forces launched 51 attacks in total, with the highest number of attacks reported in the Kostiantynivka direction.
• At 16:00, artillery and mortar fire intensified in the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts, while the number of attacks in other directions remained lower.
• ISW material states that 1–2 Russian assaults across the Sloviansk sector were unsuccessful, as Ukrainian forces repelled them.

As of 16:00, Russian forces launched 51 attacks across Ukrainian positions, the General Staff of the ZSU said. The fiercest fighting, according to the report, was in the Kostiantynivka direction.

According to the General Staff, artillery fire was concentrated along the frontline in the Sumy direction. In the Donetsk region, the heaviest fighting was reported around Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Kurchakh, Ryzivka, Bezsalivka, Potaipivka, Neskuchne, Tovstodubove, Rohizne, Hutko-Ozhynka, and in the Chernihiv direction around the village of Zaliiznyy.

In the direction of the village of Slobozhanske, Russian forces launched one attack with artillery fire, as well as 33 artillery strikes on Ukrainian positions. In the direction of the village of Kupyansk, Russian forces launched one attack. In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian assaults. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack. In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces launched 18 attacks on Ukrainian positions. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian forces launched one attack. In the Kherson direction, Russian forces launched one attack.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 18 attacks on Ukrainian positions, including in the areas of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusky Yar, and Velykivka. Ukrainian forces repelled all attacks.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces launched 18 attacks on Ukrainian positions, including in the areas of Kotlyne, Udachne, and Shevchenko, as well as in the vicinity of Matiashivka, Vasylivka, Mirnograd, and also in the vicinity of Novopidgornyi. All attacks were repelled by Ukrainian forces, the General Staff said.

Material from ISW also notes that 1–2 Russian assaults in the Sloviansk sector were unsuccessful, and that the Ukrainian forces repelled them. The report adds that the Ukrainian forces are continuing to hold their positions in the area.
