Goalkeeper Shakhtar Dmytro Riznyk, in an interview on ukrfootball.ua, commented on the match against Kudriavka, which ended with Shakhtar winning 5:1. He explained that after the game he did not feel he had been in optimal physical condition, and that his goalkeeper performance was also influenced by this.

Riznyk, in particular, said that he did not plan to play the way he did, and that he did not understand what was happening at the time. “In the first half, I didn’t feel the rhythm at all,” he said. “I didn’t have the right timing, and that’s why everything went wrong.”

He also noted that he could not say for sure why his condition was not optimal, but he suggested that it might be related to how he had been preparing for the match. He added that he would have to analyze his performance and draw conclusions for the next game.
