Gio Reyna’s contract extension with “Strasbourg” until 2031

French club “Strasbourg” has officially announced the signing of a contract extension for Gio Reyna (Gio) with the club. The agreement runs through 2031.
According to The Athletic, the possible transfer sum for Reyna to “Strasbourg” is up to 4 million euros (4.6 million dollars).
With the “Strasbourg” contract, Reyna is set to start a new chapter in his career. According to L’Équipe, the winger will sign a contract worth 3 million euros per year with the club.
Over the course of Reyna’s first 19 matches for “Strasbourg,” The Athletic adds that the player will not earn less than 625 hours in the 2020-21 season, and the minimum contract period will be 2023-24 wins over the course of the season. The source also reports that Reyna has 42 or 43 matches in which he has scored 10 goals.
According to The Athletic, Reyna has agreed to a release clause in the amount of 4:1. The return leg in the USA will be played in the round of 16.
