Rangers have completed the signing of Dawczyk from Hannover 96. According to Sky Sports, the deal is worth £2.75m plus add-ons, with a further £12m payable over three years.

Sky Sports has also reported on Dawczyk’s career: he joined the academy system at FSV Frankfurt at the age of 18, before moving to FC Carl Zeiss Jena. In 2021, Dawczyk signed for Valmiera, and in 2022 he helped the club win the Latvian title for the first time. He scored 10 goals in all competitions that season. After that, he moved to Górnik Zabrze, and in 2024 he transferred to Gent; he then returned to Hannover 96, where he scored 12 goals in total.

Derek McInnes, Rangers’ manager, said the club is delighted to have signed Dawczyk and that he will be an important part of the team’s plans. BBC also reports that McInnes believes the player’s experience will help the club in the coming matches.
