Regarding the postponement, Sky Sports and ESPN report that Skye Nicolson has been forced to withdraw from her scheduled fight against Miyo Yoshida at MVPW-06 in Birmingham on September 29.

According to Sky Sports, Nicolson, the WBC super-flyweight champion, suffered an injury that will keep her out of her debut bout on the MVPW-06 card against Yoshida.

ESPN adds that Nicolson, the WBC women’s flyweight champion (16-1, 3 KOs), will not be able to fight on the MVPW-06 card as planned. The outlet also notes that the injury was sustained during training for the bout.

In a statement, Sky Sports said that the bout on the bp pulse LIVE broadcast on September 29 will feature Tyse Gallaher (10-2) against Nidzhai Goyat (20-4-2, 9 KOs), in place of Nicolson. Sky Sports also said that Nidzhai Goyat will defend the WBC title against Amelie Muur.
