MacPaw is bringing Liquid AI to localize the next-generation of AI on Mac

Ukrainian developer MacPaw is launching a program for the voice capabilities of MacPaw about the next-generation of AI partnership with the company Liquid AI. The company says it will focus on the next-generation of AI for Mac, which will help users perform tasks on personal computers.

With Liquid AI, the company plans to adapt Liquid Foundation Models for macOS AI assistants using MacPaw Elix and Mnemos. Elix is designed to perform on-device inference and run locally on Apple silicon, meaning Mnemos—like it is—will work without sending data to external servers.

First, the product, which is being developed, is an AI assistant Eney for macOS. According to the materials, the results may be achieved in the next few years; it is also stated that local models will help improve the accuracy of the internal search without the need for external data.

MacPaw is also developing that it will be possible to use the next generation architecture in Eney technology. In a TechCrunch article, MacPaw said it is developing the possibility of using the next generation of models through Setapp, and also that access to the internal models will be provided in the future by the company Google as a single platform for developers.
