Lawmaker introduces new UAP bill for disclosure of UAP-related information
- Blue team member Avi Loeb is calling for the UAP disclosure of UAP-related information.
- The group has submitted a proposal to the Pentagon to release more than 50 videos and related documents about UAP.
- Former Trump administration officials, and the UAP Governance Board, have also proposed releasing classified documents in red.
Washington, April 30, 2026 — Blue team member Avi Loeb is calling for the creation of a new science-focused group for the disclosure of UAP information, citing the fact that no one has yet been able to explain what they are (UAP).
Loeb, who has been pursuing an extraterrestrial hypothesis for UAP since 2020, claims that the reason is the lack of clarity about the nature of these phenomena. The proposal would require the group to provide information on the topic.
The Blue team said it would create a new panel to investigate UAP. The panel will be tasked with reviewing the group’s work and providing the public with information about UAP. The panel will also be responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate and reliable.
To follow the group’s work, Timothee Gelladet, a former counterintelligence officer who has claimed to have information about UAP, said that “with the help of intelligence, it is possible to learn the truth” and that the group will be able to investigate a wide range of issues. Also, the panel would include Ben LaMma, a former official who works on the development of intelligence systems.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration will be required to disclose more information about UAP, and the group will be tasked with investigating the issue. The group will also be responsible for providing the public with information about UAP.
In addition, the proposal would require the group to focus on scientific conclusions. For example, physicist Sean Kirkpatrick, who led UAP efforts at the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, said that the Loeb proposal would be “a waste of time” and that “there are no scientific conclusions that can be drawn from the available data.”
Sam Loeb said that he is not aware of any prior information about UAP that could explain the phenomenon, and that the material would also be used to support the “light sail” project by Galileo Project founder. In addition, the proposal would include experiments in 2023 that used magnetics to test how the object moves in space.
