NBA Cup to be held at Hinkle Fieldhouse for 11 straight years

• The arena will also host the tournament’s postseason games at the same time; Hinkle Fieldhouse is the home of the NCAA tournament’s final four since the NBA Cup began

The match for the NBA Cup in the 2026-27 season will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will feature 11 straight years.

As previously reported, the first NBA Cup final will not be in Las Vegas, which has hosted the first three tournament finals in the middle of the season.

Hinkle Fieldhouse, located in Indianapolis, has a seating capacity of nearly 9,100. The arena also has a rich history: it hosted the USA’s national team, and the arena has hosted multiple international tournaments, including the NCAA tournament. The 1954 Milan High premiere Muncie Central High won the title; this is the origin story of the film Hoosiers, in which Hinkle Fieldhouse is the home of the state championship game.

In the previous NBA Cup, the winners were as follows: Los Angeles Lakers — 2023, Milwaukee — 2024, and New York — San Antonio 2025.
