30 Jun 2026 Dacia has announced price cuts for its electric Spring, retaining its status as the cheapest new car in the UK.
The Expression Electric 70 trim now costs £11,990 «down»—which puts it below the Leapmotor T03, which is priced at £12,995 for the same 24-month period.
Meanwhile, Spring Extreme Electric 100 costs £12,990. For reference, the price difference is that the more expensive model has a bigger battery: 308 litres, compared with 1,004 litres for the cheaper one. For the YouClip roof rack system.
On the Extreme Electric 100 version, you get extra equipment, including a 10.1-inch colour touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear camera, and vehicle-to-load electrics that let you power external devices.
Dacia’s UK brand director Lina Ribeiro said the pricing reflects the company’s commitment to making electric cars more affordable. “In recent years, we’ve been working hard to reduce the cost of ownership,” she added, “and we’re pleased to see the Spring become the cheapest car in the UK.”
It’s also reported that the Spring will be available across Europe, with the model range expected to include a variant based on the Renault Twingo.
