Syrskyi’s report on the plan of the RF Armed Forces to strike Kyiv with new drones

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the development of a new method for launching attacks on Ukrainian cities with the use of drones. The head of state specifically instructed the military to increase the effectiveness of strikes on Kyiv. In particular, the Kremlin is planning to use a wide range of drones and other weapons. In addition, the Russian side is preparing to deploy new types of drones that will be used against Ukrainian cities.

According to the words of Syrskyi, the scenarios described may start with a strike by Belarus for the purpose of striking the city’s infrastructure. At the same time, the largest number of Belarusian troops is concentrated in the Chernihiv region of Russia.

As the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said, Ukrainian forces are facing another attempt by Russia to attack with drones. According to available information, the Russian side has already deployed the necessary forces and means on the territory of Belarus. In addition, it is planned to use air defense systems to cover the advance of troops.

In particular, the operation is expected to be carried out with the use of long-range drones and missiles. The General Staff of Ukraine reports that on 1 June 2026, the Russian side plans to conduct air and missile strikes on Ukrainian positions, including the use of drones. The total number of Russian personnel involved is expected to exceed 1,404,760, including 12,069 tanks and 383,067 personnel without exception.

However, Ukraine’s military leadership believes that Ukrainian forces will be able to repel the attack. The Russian military is planning to strike Ukrainian positions along the entire front line, including the use of drones. The Ukrainian side is already strengthening its defenses and preparing for possible attacks.
