Russian drone attacks on Kherson region leave one killed, seven injured

In the Kherson region, Russian drone attacks on Saturday, June 14, left one person dead. The details of the incident are being clarified by officials.

According to preliminary data, 57-year-old and 55-year-old men were injured, along with a 53-year-old man. Two women, aged 52 and 36, were also injured. The wounded were taken to hospital; their condition is being assessed by doctors.

It is also reported that the blast wave damaged nearby buildings. There is no information yet on any additional victims.

The head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that the drone attack resulted in a fatality and injuries.

According to the statement by Prokudin, the attack damaged civilian infrastructure in Kherson and nearby settlements. In total, the attack affected the following areas: Oleshandrivka, Burlakivka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Petro-pavlivka, Novoraysk, Rakivka, Dudchany, Havrylivka, Chervony Yar, Komyshany, Stanislav, Charivne, Lyubymivka, Novovoskresensk, Kyselivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Yarne, Daryivka, Zymivnyk, Oleshandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Zelenivka, Tomyna Balka, Poniativka, Osokorivka, Velika Oleksandrivka, Burhanka, Velyetske, Ivanivka, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Kostyrka, Lvivske, Mykolayivka, Nadeyivka, Novoberislav, Sablukivka, Tomarine, Tahanika, and also Kherson.

It is noted that the enemy used drones to strike at civilian targets. The authorities urged residents to remain in shelters and follow safety instructions.

In addition, it is expected that the enemy will continue shelling the region. The situation is being monitored, and measures are being taken to ensure the safety of local residents.
