Russia shot down H-59 and 130 drones over Ukraine within 30 June

• At around 30 June, the PPO air defense neutralized the H-59 and 130 drones, with the attack taking place at 07:30 on 1 June.

Forces of Ukraine’s air defense destroyed the H-59 missile and 130 drones during the night attack, which took place on 30 June. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the attack was carried out with missiles and drones from different directions.

Starting at 18:00 on 30 June, Russian forces launched air strikes on Ukraine using various types of weapons. In particular, the “Iskander-M” missile and H-59 missiles were used, while Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas drones were also launched from the Black Sea direction. At the same time, 151 drones were shot down. The rest of the drones were neutralized.

All of the drones were launched from the territory of Russia and occupied areas, including the Bryansk, Kursk, and Oryol regions, as well as from Crimea and the Black Sea direction. The Ukrainian air defense forces also intercepted the drones and missiles.

As a result, at around 07:30 on 1 June, Ukrainian air defense shot down the H-59 missile and 130 drones launched by Russia. Ukrainian air defense also reported that 17 drones were shot down, while 16 were destroyed at the launch sites. In addition, the air defense forces neutralized the remaining drones.

Information about the missile strike is being clarified. It is not yet known where the missile hit. The enemy launched the missile from the territory of Crimea. According to initial reports, a fire broke out in Donetsk region. Publicly available information indicates that at about 23:50 on 1 June (local time), the missile hit Donetsk region, and the fire was extinguished by emergency services.

In Crimea, the air defense also shot down drones. According to the NASA FIRMS system, fires were detected over the E-97, and the fires were recorded in the Zapadno-Krymskyi area.
