2026 World Cup names 20 eliminated teams

• After the group stage, 16 teams remained in the tournament, while another 4 ended their run in the round of 32.
• Among those eliminated are Czechia, Qatar, Haiti, Turkey, Curaçao, Tunisia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Panama, Iran, South Korea, Scotland, Uruguay, South Africa, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands.
• Germany lost to Paraguay in a penalty shootout, while the Netherlands fell to Morocco in Monterrey.

After the completion of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, 20 of the 48 participants have been eliminated from the tournament. The first to exit were 12 teams that finished last in their groups, while four more were knocked out as the worst among those who finished third. In the round of 32, South Africa, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands also ended their participation.
