Naomi Osaka advanced to the third round at Wimbledon, defeating Russian player Anastasia Gasanova with a score of 6-3, 6-2. The match lasted 1 hour and 7 minutes, and the winner was decided in two straight sets.

Earlier, Osaka had drawn attention with a straight-sets win over her compatriot in the first round. After that, in the second round, she also won in straight sets, defeating her opponent in a match that lasted under an hour.

It turned out that Osaka’s next opponent at Wimbledon was determined by Daniil Tien or Daria Kasatkina. The Japanese will play either Tien or Kasatkina in the next round.
