Placed in Group: Bulls’ opponents in the 2026-27 Champions Cup
- Northampton and Bath will face each other in Pool 4 of the 2026-27 Champions Cup, with Montpellier’s Bulls.
- Toulouse in Pool 2 will be joined by Saracens and Exeter, while Lions will face Connacht.
- Pool 3 includes Stormers, Bristol and Gloucester, as well as Munster and Racing 92.
All the pools have been set for the 2026-27 Champions Cup season, which will determine the groups that teams will play in. After the draw, Ireland’s Leinster head coach Steve Ferris said the English clubs will be tough opponents for his team.
Meanwhile, in France, Pool 2 will feature superstars from England: “Saracens” and “Exeter Chiefs.” Toulouse will also have superstars in their group: “Lions” (PAR) and “Connacht” (Ireland), while “La Rochelle” will be another team. Ahead of the draw, Toulouse will play in the “Saracens” group with Leinster, where the match is expected to be close, with the team posting a 20-14 win.
“Bordeaux-Begles,” who will play in the Champions Cup, are in the same group as “Stormers” (PAR). Their group also includes “Bristol” and “Gloucester” from England, as well as “Munster” (Ireland) and “Racing 92.”
“Northampton” and “Bath” were drawn into Pool 4. Their group includes “Bikes” (PAR) and “Montpellier,” as well as “Cardiff” and “Stade Français.” This group also includes a surprise: will “Bikes” go on to win the final URC “Leinster”? (note, that “Bikes” reached the URC final “Lens” ).
In Pool 2, the Bulls will also have a group. “Ulster” will face “Bai’onni” and “Perpignan,” while “Dragons” will face “N’youk” (PAR) and “Sharks.”
The next stage of the Bulls’ Champions Cup campaign will begin with group matches. After three matches in each group, the teams will then play for a place in the playoffs. The group stage will run from 16-18 January, with the final scheduled for Leinster on 22 May 2027.
