Putin’s attacks on Kyiv: drones struck people, according to the Ukrainian president
- In the early hours, drones attacked Kyiv, killing people and injuring civilians, the president said.

Russian forces launched another drone and missile attack on Kyiv, the president said, adding that the strikes hit residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
Ukrainian air defense systems were activated across the country. Several explosions were heard, and the head of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, said that the attack was ongoing and that emergency services were responding.
According to preliminary information, at least 11 people were injured. The president said that the ongoing attack could result in further casualties.
In addition, it was reported that a fire broke out in one of the residential areas. Crimea, too, was hit by strikes, and the president said that further details would be provided.
In his address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia’s attacks on Ukraine would not go unpunished.
At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine will continue to defend itself and protect civilians, and that the world must not remain silent in the face of such crimes.
