Trembling its way into oblivion: how MSG’s new theme will keep every Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce show in New York safe
- Madison Square Garden will use a new system for all upcoming events from Sept. 2 to 3 to ensure the safety of the stadium.
- According to CNN, the organization will use private security, with no exception, to prevent risks and threats and to avoid any potential incidents.
- In the coming days, the marshals will also need to check all guests’ access to the venue through the control points.
Officials at Madison Square Garden plan to have the entire Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce show in New York run through the venue’s security system. According to the plan, starting on Thursday, Sept. 2, the venue will deploy more than 100 police officers, as well as additional security personnel, to provide enhanced protection for the event.
According to the document, which was obtained by CNN, the reason for the increased security measures is the expected presence of a large number of people, which could lead to a risk of incidents. The document notes that Madison Square Garden has no record of any security incidents in the past, but that the large crowd could still pose a threat.
The material also states that the event will be supported by a special system of security measures, including the use of advanced video surveillance and an additional security team. It also notes that the venue expects to have to respond quickly to any potential threats.
In addition, CNN reports that the command of the security operation will be carried out by the head of the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) special unit, who will oversee the entire operation and ensure that it runs smoothly.
At the same time, the plan also states that the event will be held with the participation of the NYPD, which will coordinate with the venue’s security team. The document notes that the police will be on site throughout the event and will be responsible for maintaining order and ensuring public safety.
For its part, the BBC also said that the security measures for the show will be more detailed and will include additional checks and restrictions. In particular, it is expected that the venue will use additional security personnel and advanced surveillance systems to ensure the safety of visitors and participants.
