De Minaur overcomes Mannarino to reach the final in Wimbledon
- De Minaur beat Mannarino at Wimbledon 6-3 6-2 6-2 in 49 minutes
- In the next round, the Australian will face a rematch against Zverev, after the German broke his opponent’s serve
- In the third round, De Minaur will face Majkzak or Svaidzhya
On Thursday, 2 July 2026, Alex de Minaur played a match against the fourth-ranked player at Wimbledon Adrian Mannarino and won in straight sets.
De Minaur overcame the supernary with 6-3 6-2 6-2 for 1 hour 49 minutes. The Australian won the first two sets relatively easily: he broke his opponent’s serve twice in the first set and once more — three times.
Following the second set, the problem for De Minaur was that he was unable to hold his opponent’s serve. In the third set situation, the Australian managed to win the decisive break, but he still had to face 2-2 and then win the tiebreak by p’iat’ eysiv.
Mannarino did not manage to break back the two sets. De Minaur won his match.
It is also worth noting that De Minaur will face the winner of the match between Wimbledon’s third-round opponent Kamil Majkhzak, who defeated De Minaur in ’s-Hertogenbosch, or Zek Svejdzhya, who advanced without a fight.
