Jack Butland signs from Rangers from Rainjers to Hull

BBC Sport understands that Hull City have agreed terms for their latest transfer coup: goalkeeper Jack Butland heading in from Rangers.
According to BBC Sport, the 33-year-old goalkeeper has agreed a two-year contract with the club. The fee is understood to be an undisclosed amount. Butland has been linked with a move to Hull after the player was released from the club’s “tigers” campaign by the end of the season.
In the 2025-26 season, Butland played in all 55 matches for Hull, scoring 55 goals in all competitions, while Rangers won the Scottish Cup in their first season, and also reached the Scottish League Cup final with the Scottish League Cup against the Scottish League Cup.
Before that, Butland had spent time at Stoke City, playing 77 matches for the club in the Premier League, and also had spells at Crystal Palace. He made his debut for the club in 19 years, starting his career with the club in his home country.
Sky Sports understands that Rangers have signed Pandur from Hull City for a fee of 6 million in add-ons. The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who scored the Champions League with the Champions League, has agreed a contract with the club from Glasgow.
According to Sky Sports, Pandur will join Hull on a two-year deal. With the move, Butland will leave Hull and join Rangers, while Pandur will move in the opposite direction.
