Salma Paralluelo signs contract with FC Barcelona through 2026

FC Barcelona have confirmed that Salma Paralluelo has sealed a deal with the club, extending her contract. The new agreement runs until Barça Femini 30 June 2026.

In the club’s statement, it was noted that Paralluelo had a great season in the “sin-gran” squad, scoring 15 trophies: three Liga championships, the Copa del Rey title, three Champions League trophies, and the Supercopa de España title.

For the club, Paralluelo scored 72 goals in 131 matches. Her overall record is also impressive: two of her goals were scored in the Champions League against Lyon, which ended in a 4-0 win for the Catalans in the fourth European final.

According to L’Equipe, Paralluelo won the Spanish Cup with Athletic in 2023. It was also noted that she was the youngest player to score in the Champions League for Villarreal in 2022, when she was still a teenager.

In the context of the contract extension, L’Equipe and Forbes note that the “Barça” goals were spoken about by Alexia Putellas. According to Forbes, she is also set to move from London City Lionesses, and it is also said that she is interested in Paralluelo, along with other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon.
