On Thursday, Microsoft announced the launch of its new Microsoft Frontier company, which will help the company successfully deploy corporate AI solutions.
The project plans to invest $2.5 billion to launch 6,000 new factories. Starting today, it will be supported by partners from London Stock Exchange Group, Unilever, Land OLakes, and Accenture.
Microsoft director Judson Althoff said in a statement that the initiative will come from the companys Forward-Deployed Engineering, which is its largest and most important organization, responsible for delivering results.
Microsoft also said that it will proceed with the initiative through two days, as AWS announced an additional $1 billion for scaling initiatives in Ukraine, which will be used to scale the FDE model. The company also added that it will cooperate with OpenAI and Anthropic to develop and finance future investments.
