Rockets hit Kyiv: 23 people killed
- According to Ukrinform, the number of civilians killed in Kyiv as a result of the attack has risen to 23 from 2, with 2 people killed earlier.
- According to Ukrinform, more than 100 people were injured; the most—at least in the hundreds—were injured in the Kyiv region.

As of now, the number of civilians killed in Kyiv has risen to 23 people, Ukrinform reports, citing the Kyiv city military administration.
According to Ukrinform, the number of injured stands at 100 people. Earlier, it was reported about 22 people killed.
According to preliminary information from Ukrainian sources, the shelling was carried out with missiles: the highest number of casualties was recorded in the Desnianskyi district. UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that the attacks were carried out in violation of international humanitarian law.
Ukrinform also reports that the shelling took place across all districts of the city. According to the materials, it was reported that the Russians used ballistic missiles.
In a DW report, it is stated that during the attack, Russian missiles were launched at Kyiv. It is also noted that Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept some of the missiles.
General secretar of the UN Antonio Guterres, as Ukrinform reports, called for an immediate end to the attacks on Kyiv. In his statement, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that the attacks against civilians violate international humanitarian law and must be stopped immediately.
According to the materials of DW, at the time of the attack, Russian missiles were launched at Kyiv. Kyiv authorities said that at least 50,000 people were evacuated from the city.
