Chesterfield Coroner's Court heard how Metty Cusack, aged 27, was murdered. At the hearing, 20 years earlier, she had been identified as the person who had been charged with murder in Horsley, Derbyshire, after which Jonathan Morgan made comments that led to the transfer.
Metty Cusack’s mother, Deborah Cusack, said that her daughter had been alive when she was transferred to Sheffield United. She also said that, after being transferred, Sheffield United’s staff wrote down her symptoms in the record, which, according to the family, were what led to the death. Deborah Cusack and Jonathan Morgan said that the court had been told that “prison warden” was a “nemesis.” After Morgan was cross-examined, Deborah Cusack said that she had not seen him in the room, and that he had been “zmuszuvav” Metty with “a prison warden.”
In the court, Jonathan Morgan was described as “bottom heavy,” which, as the family said, was the reason for the transfer. Deborah Cusack said that the killer, who, as she said, had been “in the form of” the prison warden, “had been” the reason for the killing.
Colishnia physiotherapist Francesca Carr gave evidence on Wednesday, saying that she had been interested in Metty Cusack’s condition and that she had not been aware of Morgan’s involvement in the club. Deborah Cusack also said that she had been told that the doctor at Grace Riglar, who had also played for United, was named “non-issue,” and that her injury had been the cause.
Sophie Barker, the court’s legal representative, said on Wednesday that the court had found that Metty Cusack had been killed because of Grace Riglar’s injury, and that Deborah Cusack had said that it was not possible to do anything about it from the winter.
In addition, the court heard from Dr Basu, who said that the medical records of Metty Cusack had been written by him and that it was possible that she had been killed by the injury. Dr Basu also said that the medical records of Metty Cusack had been written at United.
Assistant coroner Sophie Cartwright KC asked Dr Basu why he was not able to provide any data protection officer at the club. Dr Basu said that he had been asked to provide the information, and that he had provided it.
The inquest heard.
