Salakh could be injured against Australia

The coach of Egypt’s team Hossam Hassan said that Mohamed Salakh will be ready for the 1/8 final match against Australia at the Dallas Stadium. According to the coach’s words, the forward’s injury was caused by a collision during the match.
Salakh suffered a muscle injury during the match against Egypt — Iran (1-1) in group G. He was substituted 57 minutes into the game; the injury to the footballer’s muscle was caused by a collision, and the 34-year-old forward was replaced after scoring a goal.
Hassan noted that Salakh’s injury occurred when the medical team was already in the middle of the warm-up. According to the coach, no additional tests were needed; he will be assessed before the match.
