Ukrainian forces have destroyed record number of Russian artillery systems in June

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in June 2026, 2,074 Russian artillery systems were destroyed. For comparison, during the same period, 1,993 artillery systems were destroyed, which is 110 more than the previous record.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also reported that in June, Ukrainian forces destroyed or eliminated the largest number of Russian artillery systems — 12,878. The figure for the same period was 8,612.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the program named “Logistics Lockdown” was aimed at disrupting the middle-strike system of Russian logistics, including supply chains, equipment, command posts, and the movement of reserves.

In Crimea, Ukrainian forces destroyed 103 Russian tanks, 197 armored combat vehicles, and 60 artillery systems. The material also notes that for the first time in two years, the number of losses of the Russian Armed Forces has increased.
