Lithuania’s president-elect announces constitutional amendments on nuclear weapons

President-elect Gitanas Nausėda has announced that the majority of parliamentary factions support amending the constitution on the deployment of nuclear weapons. POLITICO reports this information about Ukraine.
In the words of Nausėda, the Seimas has 137 members, and the constitution of Lithuania, which is adopted by a majority, is not supported by any factual evidence. The president-elect also added that, in his view, the Seimas should change the constitution in the first reading, and that the 137th vote is not enough to amend it.
