F1 British GP: sprint races on Sky Sports and Apple TV

• The British Grand Prix 2026 at Silverstone will be broadcast as 3–5 laps of sprint racing, sprint qualifying, sprint, sprint qualifying and a single race start.
• Coverage of the British Grand Prix in the UK will be available on Sky Sports, and in the USA — on Apple TV; for Sky, there is also the Sky Go service, and for other viewers there is NOWTV Day Pass.
• F1 Academy will kick off its sprint weekend at Silverstone with a 3–5-lap race, taking place in the same session as the main event.

The 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone will be held as a sprint weekend: on Saturday — sprint qualifying, on Sunday — the sprint and the race.

All times are BST. On Saturday, 3 laps, sprint qualifying starts at 12:30, and the sprint qualifying — at 4:30. On Sunday, 4 laps, Race 1 starts at 12:00, and qualifying — at 4:00. On Monday, 5 laps, the race starts at 3:00.

The British Grand Prix live broadcast will be available on Sky Sports. Sky Sports’ coverage begins at 12:55 (BST). Subscribers to Sky Sports can watch via the Sky Go app. For those who don’t have Sky, the race is available via the NOWTV Day Pass.

In the USA, the British Grand Prix will be broadcast live on Apple TV. The coverage is also available, as Apple TV can stream it without any additional subscription.

It is expected that the British Grand Prix at Silverstone will feature F1 Academy starting its sprint weekend during the same time slot. The schedule suggests that the F1 Academy race will take place during the same segment of the main event as the F2 and F3 races.

Also, the F1 Academy sprint race schedule is as follows: Saturday, 3 laps, practice starts at 7:40, qualifying — at 5:55; Sunday, 4 laps, Race 1 starts at 6:00; Monday, 5 laps, Race 2 — at 9:55, and also, as previously mentioned, the start of the race will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event.
