Zelensky says Ukraine can surpass Russia in high-tech weapons production

In a statement, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine has reached the level of high-tech weapons production that could surpass Russia’s capabilities. Regarding the Telegram message about the alleged downing of Stavky Commander-in-Chief, he clarified that the information is not true.

In his words, Zelensky said that the Russian forces need to be stopped, and that Ukraine’s defense industry is developing the necessary systems. He noted that the Ukrainian side has already started producing new types of drones, including UGV, and electronic warfare (EW) systems. He also said that Ukraine is working on a system that can be used to counter Russian electronic warfare.

In addition, he said that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Mikhailo Fedorov reported on the development of a 1 billion hryvnia drone weapons system. He added that the project is being implemented, and that it includes the modernization of the production of drones and electronic warfare systems.

He also said that the DART project, which is being developed by Ukraine, is designed to be used against Russian electronic warfare (EW) systems.
