The Charlotte Hornets acquired forward Dorian Finney-Smith in a three-team trade with Houston Rockets, according to The Associated Press and ESPN.

Details on the deal were not immediately available, as the league has not disclosed trade details. The Associated Press and ESPN first reported the news.

In its report, AP said that Houston Rockets could potentially use the $13 million trade exception. Houston also acquired Marcus Smart and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

ESPN, citing a report by Shams Charania, said that the Hornets would receive a pick from another round in 2027 (via Memphis), in 2028 (via Houston) and in 2033 (via Houston). ESPN also reported that Charlotte could have 20 picks in the next six years.

AP added that the 33-year-old Finney-Smith averaged 3.3 points in 37 games this season.
