Trump’s Great American State Fair is set to close at 5:00 p.m.

President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C. will close at 5:00 p.m. due to a power outage. According to Freedom 250, the organizers for the 250th anniversary celebration of the U.S. state of South Carolina said it will close at 5:00 p.m. today due to a power outage.

In addition, the organizers said that, after 1 p.m. ET, the event at National Mall will be closed because of a power outage. Selina Wang, a reporter for ABC News, published a video showing the cause of the power outage.

Freedom 250 organizers said that the fair will be closed due to a power outage. Organizers also said that the musical performances scheduled for this evening will be canceled, including performances by Hugo Castillo, Mickey Smith Jr., and Grace Moody Miller from The Voice.

The organizers noted that, because of the power outage, the concert schedule will be adjusted and that, in the event of a power outage, all performances planned during Freedom 250 will be canceled, including performances by Martini McBride, The Commodores, and Bret Michaels.
