According to Hausner, during the storm in Walworth County, trees fell and power lines came down. The wind was also strong enough to knock down trees.

Police in the Lake Geneva area are investigating the incident. Hausner said that the extent of the damage is still unclear, and emergency services have not yet been able to determine the full scale. The Associated Press reports.

In Lake Geneva, Todd Krause said that the official state of emergency had not been declared, and that the storm had caused power outages. He also said that the storm had caused damage to several buildings.

Hausner said that several 911 calls were received about the fallen trees, which he believes were caused by the storm. He added that the wind also caused some power lines to come down.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Forecasters said the storms could bring damaging winds, heavy rain, and lightning through Independence Day.
