Tens of thousands of people marched in London for Pride

In central London, the LGBT+ Pride parade took place. Tens of thousands of people marched through the city’s streets.

Mayor Sadiq Khan, along with London Mayor, attended the parade.

The organizers said that 35,000 participants from more than 600 groups marched from Hyde Park Corner to Whitehall through Piccadilly, which is about as far as possible.

The organizers also said that the march route includes An Alliance of Defiance. There will also be an MNEK performance with a choir of voices on the main stage in Trafalgar Square, and additional performances on the Cabaret stage at the Trans and Non-Binary Community stage.

One of the organizers said that the sound system will be used to play music through speakers at a distance of up to 28C. It also says that there will be an inclusive Quiet Pride, which is intended as a quieter format for people with disabilities.
